About me

Behind Webs Butler is
one person. Me.

My name is Daniel Xhemalçe. I build websites in Leszno — and then I look after them myself. There's no sales department here, no ticket system, no account manager who hands you off to someone else. You write to me — I'm the one who replies.

How it started

An English teacher who ended up writing his own website system

01

First, there was school

For years I taught English to adults. Managers, business owners, people who were genuinely good at what they did. And every so often, somewhere between the past tense and a list of irregular verbs, the same sentence would come up:

"We have a website, but I'm afraid to click anything on it."

They didn't know who built it. They didn't know exactly what they were paying for every month. Someone had set it up once, sent an invoice, and disappeared. What was left was fear of touching anything.

02

Then came the evenings

I built my first websites after hours — first for friends, then for businesses in and around Leszno. I quickly noticed that what was missing most wasn't code at all. It was translation. Exactly what I did in the classroom: saying clearly what's happening and why.

It turned out that ten years of translating hard things into simple words was better preparation for this job than more than one programming course.

03

Eventually I stopped waiting on other people's tools

The more websites I built, the more the ready-made page builders bothered me. They look great in an ad, but in practice they can turn a simple site into something heavy and slow. So at some point I sat down and wrote my own tool.

It's called Purity. It's what powers the very page you're reading right now.

My tool

I built my own system because no off-the-shelf one was ever enough

Purity is a custom plugin I use to build websites for clients. I'm not writing about it to show off the technology — I'm writing about it because it changes two things that actually affect you.

  • Your website is lightweight. It's built from clean code, not ten plugins glued together. Fewer things to break, fewer things to update.
  • I make changes on the spot. I don't wait for some external builder to allow something. If something needs adding, I just write it.

Where the name comes from

A butler doesn't make a grand entrance

A butler handles things in the background. Remembers your domain is about to expire. Notices your form has stopped sending messages before you do. Doesn't bother you with details you don't need to worry about — but is there when a decision needs to be made.

I didn't want to start another agency that hands over the keys and sends an invoice. I wanted to be the person you write to when "something on the internet isn't working".

Principles

Three things I stick to

I'll tell you when something isn't worth doing

A few times I've talked clients out of solutions I would have personally made more money on. Not out of the goodness of my heart — I'd simply rather have someone on board for five years than one bigger payment and then silence.

I reply, not a form

I don't hand you off to an "account manager". The same person who designed your website replies to your email six months later. Usually the same day.

I don't disappear after launch

A website isn't furniture you carry in and close the door on. Updates, backups, small fixes, hosting and email — all of that stays on my side, so you can get back to your own work.

Honestly

I'm not for everyone — and that's fine

I'd rather say this now than after you've signed a contract.

We'll get along if

  • you run a small or medium business and want your digital side in order,
  • you care about your website being fast and stable, not just pretty in a screenshot,
  • you'd rather have one person for the website, hosting and email than three different providers,
  • you like it when someone tells you straight what makes sense and what's just a passing trend.

Look elsewhere if

  • you need a large agency with a sales team and a formal process,
  • you expect promises like "+300% traffic in 30 days" — I don't make those,
  • you're looking for the cheapest offer on the market, not someone for the long run.

Questions I hear the most

Before you write

Do you only work with businesses in Leszno?

No. I live in Leszno and mostly work with businesses from the Greater Poland and Lower Silesia regions, but the whole collaboration can be run remotely — by email and online. I have clients I've never met in person, and it works very well.

I already have a website. Does it need to be rebuilt from scratch?

Not always. Sometimes it's enough to speed up what already exists, tidy up the hosting, and improve the offer page. Before I propose anything, I'll take a look at what you have — and if it would be a shame to throw it out, I'll tell you straight.

Can I start without a big budget?

Yes. Besides the one-time payment, there's also a subscription model where the first month is free — you start with no upfront fee and cancel whenever you want. You'll find the details on the order a website page and in the pricing.

What exactly stays on your side after launch?

Hosting, SSL certificate, backups, updates, business email and small revisions. If you already have your own domain, it stays yours. You can also order just hosting with support, without a new website.

Write to me. Really, no obligation.

I don't have a sales script and I won't be pushing you into anything. Tell me where you're at and what's bothering you — I'll tell you honestly whether and how I can help. If I'm not the right person, you'll hear that too.
